Senior Solutions Engineer

We’re looking for a customer-facing technical professional with strong experience in enterprise storage and backup environments to lead pre-sales engagements and post-sale technical account management.

Core6 (formerly Continuity) provides storage security solutions that help enterprises protect their data by securing storage and backup infrastructure. StorageGuard by Core6 continuously assesses configuration state across storage and backup systems, identifies drift from secure baselines, and enforces vendor and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales to build and progress pipeline, win new customers, and support renewals and account growth.
  • Lead customer-facing pre-sales activities: presentations, demos, discovery, requirements analysis, POCs, competitive positioning, and technical deep dives
  • Own the technical relationship post-sale as a Technical Account Manager – supporting onboarding, deployment, integrations, and ongoing adoption.
  • Help customers operationalize StorageGuard, including baseline definition, configuration tuning, and ongoing usage optimization.
  • Work closely with Product and R&D teams to relay field feedback and influence roadmap.
  • Engage customers and prospects both remotely and onsite; represent Core6 at industry events when needed.

Location

NY / NJ (regular presence in Manhattan / Jersey City)

Qualifications

  • ~3+ years in a customer-facing technical role within enterprise B2B software (e.g., Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Presales, TAM, Field CTO, Specialist/Evangelist or similar)
  • Strong understanding of datacenter environments, with emphasis on (1) IT infrastructure security (2) Enterprise storage and backup systems
  • Previous hands-on experience with infrastructure technologies (storage, backup, OS, networking) – preferred.
  • Ability to engage both technical teams and senior stakeholders with credibility and clarity
  • Comfortable operating across pre-sales and post-sales phases
  • Ability to commute regularly to Manhattan / Jersey City
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Full‑time position.
